ThouShaltNot and Dancing Ferret Discs are pleased to announce the
release of "The White Beyond," the band's followup to 2001's "The
Holiness of Now." "The White Beyond" brings to the gothic and
industrial genre a raw emotional core filtered through refined
classicism, intelligent songwriting, and gigantically epic production.

Having just come off a highly successful national tour with gothic
trip-hop duo Hungry Lucy, ThouShaltNot will promote this 13-song album
of harmonically rich dark pop for the next two years, and are very
proud to be doing so. This album is at once the advancement,
culmination, and redirection of the band's sound.

Employing synthpop, powernoise, darkwave, and a battery of excellent
musicianship (including a real string orchestra), "The White Beyond"
is, throughout its heavy subject matter of death and eternity, at once
accessibly hook-laden and deeply complex in its emotional and
intellectual architecture.

To hear clips from the album, read about it, and purchase it, please

Best wishes,

-Alexx

This may be a pretty good write up of an album if it were not written
by the band's frontman. Not to mention a gigantic dork.

Your commentary might be valid if you demonstrated the critical
ability to denote anyone as a dork.

Note this poster's earlier threads:
-----------------
"RMI posters revealed to actually be huge dorks:

...pretentious, self-rightous newsgroup posters are, as opposed to the
clever, witty, individuals who's poop don't stink, that they seem to
think they are, are actually considered annoying, unlikeable, and just
all-around dorks to the general public. While their insults,
closed-mindedness, and general asshole-like behaviour establishes
themselves,in their own minds, as experts on their subject, who are
educating the mindless fools that they are surrounded by, on just
exactly how 'it should be done", popular opinion reveals that they're,
as one online poster said:"just a bunch of jerks with no lives.'"

or

"Re: Do You Guys Still Listen To Industrial?:

Please explain what you mean by 'industrial' Really. This response is
why you
suck. Everyone else who posts here is green with envy because you
said it first,
and they couldn't feel that pathetic burst of self-gratification."
--------------------

See, by displaying yourself to be a vitriolic, hateful, and otherwise
completely unconcstructive impediment to meaningful interaction, I'm
afraid you also throw your validity out the window. For a minute, I
wondered what sort of interaction we'd had that led you to perceive me
as a dork, but it seems that you know nothing more of me than a single
posting, and extrapolate, uninformed, from there, my dorkdom. Your
post said much more about you than it did about me.

Additionally, not signing a name to your post isn't a particularly
good way to be taken seriously.

That said, perhaps the album's writeup was a bit strong to you.
People are welcome to have their own opinions on the music. Somehow,
sir, I do not think that you have heard this CD and are in a position
to make claims as to the verity of its promotional fanfare.

I encourage you to examine the way that you present yourself to
others. When you are not unilaterally spiteful and lacking a critical
self-awarenss, people might start to take you seriously. In the
meantime, best of luck.

Actually, Alexxxx, I'm from Pittsburgh, and have seen you in full dork
glory. And yes, I am vitrolic, but at least I don't make future pop,
and boast about it. And I am amused that this bothered you enough to
take the time to look up my past posts, and whine about someone having
something bad to say about you and your band. If you can't take a
slam, don't set yourself up. Next time you open up for a band I like,
I'll be at the bar(much like at the SMP show.)
Cheers-
Damon
